NASR HITS OUT AT “Unsatisfactory” BRAKE BALANCE PROBLEM

Felipe Nasr has criticised his team for yet another braking problem in 2015. The Brazilian has complained of a recurring problem more than once this season, and now he says it affected his entire Belgian grand prix. “I basically had only three wheels because of the completely wrong brake balance,” Nasr told Globo, adding that he also had problems in Canada and Austria.

The Swiss outfit, although struggling financially, had tried to fix the issue by switching between Brembo and Carbon Industries, so it might be said now that the brake supplier can be ruled out. Perhaps the problem is the quality of the work being carried out at Hinwil? “I agree with everything said. It has become an unacceptable thing,” Nasr told the correspondent Livio Oricchio.

Sauber technical boss Gianpaolo Dall’Ara, however, said the Swiss team has traced the problem to a “material” fault. “Felipe used the same set of discs in free practice and qualifying,” he said, “and had no difficulties.” He added: “We do not have the ability to buy 50 sets of discs, as some teams do, to see which are the best ones.”

As for Nasr’s emotional post-race comments, Dall’Ara added: “When a driver sees his teammate not face the same problems and racing in front of him, it is an uncomfortable feeling.

Stabilitet er nøgleordet her “udtaler Horner under SPA grand prix i Belgien.

“afsluttede Horner.

Alonso happy with lead over button at spa

The Belgian formel 1 grand prix was not all awful, as per Fernando Alonso. His colleague Jenson Catch finished the Spa-Francorchamps race letting it out had even been “humiliating”, as he seemed to be “simply driving around” with an absolutely uncompetitive McLaren-Honda. The Briton said the half and half parts of his Japanese-made ‘force unit’ were not living up to expectations, but rather clarified: “This outcome demonstrates to us where we are at this time. It will be the same at Monza.”

Spaniard Alonso, then again, was more satisfied. In the first place, he played down recommendations he is taking care of business for a move to a conceivably Mercedes-fueled Red Bull for 2016. He said a photo of him rising up out of the Red Bull RV at Spa was basically the aftereffect of a visit to his previous race engineer Paul Monaghan. “We were discussing absolutely different things,” Alonso said. “He is building a little watercraft and for this he needs a Honda motor!” he chuckled.

Alonso was additionally content with his own execution in the Belgium formel 1 grand prix. “I think it was my best race at Spa,” he is cited by El Confidencial daily paper. “Regardless of the outcome, I was 40 seconds in front of Jenson, who took shaft position and won here two years back. There are 44 laps so that is right around one second point of interest per lap with the same auto. I’ll take that,” he included.

Force India wants to become Renaults number 1 team

Force India has joined in the hurrying to turn into Renault’s works group, it rose after the Belgian formel 1 grand prix on Sunday. The news is amazing, after prior reports the battling Enstone based group Lotus – in the past the completely Renault-claimed outfit – was near securing the arrangement.

Lotus’ late money related inconveniences hit their most noteworthy apparatus at Spa-Francorchamps, with bailiffs coming back to the circuit after Sunday’s race to appropriate the dark and gold autos. The matter identifies with court activity brought by disappointed previous store driver Charles Pic.

It comes in spite of an enthusiastic Romain Grosjean getting through on Sunday for Lotus’ first platform since 2013. At the point when gotten some information about the group’s undeniable issues, the Frenchman said: “In the auto you don’t consider it. I simply focus on making a decent showing as the rest is out of my hands.”

It is trusted Lotus’ best and maybe just risk of minor survival now is the touted buyout manage Renault. In any case, now it develops that F1 legend Alain Prost, a Renault envoy, flew out to Spa-Francorchamps at the weekend to open converses with Power India’s Vijay Mallya.

Renault’s present time of uncertainty is just increase the French marque’s strain with Red Bull, its current F1 accomplice. The story likewise ties in with reports at the weekend that Red Bull is currently set to end its 2016 agreement with Renault.

“The unavoidable issue is what Renault’s arrangements are for the future,” conceded group supervisor Christian Horner. “We have a concurrence with Renault until the end of 2016, so whatever else that is being bandied about the enclosure right now is unadulterated theory,” he is cited by Rate Week.

What Red Bull can’t cover up is the potential for an option tie-up with Mercedes power for 2016, despite the fact that that would make the previous title holders a unimportant motor ‘client’. On that, Horner said: “For every one of these years we have been a client of Renault. But then we won four big showdowns.

Sebastian Vettel is Furious of tyre blowout

Sebastian Vettel finished Sunday’s Belgian great prix with a foul state of mind – and an obligatory visit to the stewards. So furious was the Ferrari driver with his late-race Pirelli tire damage that he neglected to convey himself to the FIA’s Jo Bauer to be weighed.

He was busier questioning Pirelli boss Paul Hembery’s case that it was not the tire’s flaw for his possibly title chance-finishing disappointment, yet a basic matter of “wear”. “It’s bullsh*t,” German Vettel boiled over, saying the nature of the Italian brand’s tires is “unsuitable”. “In the event that that had happened before, I’m not remaining here now, I’m stuck in Eau Rouge and in clinic.”

As the checkered banner waved at Spa-Francorchamps, it was clear that two more enclosure battles were additionally playing out. The primary is at Lotus, despite the fact that Romain Grosjean scored an against-the-chances platform – the Enstone group’s first since 2013.

In the pits, be that as it may, court bailiffs might now be moving into appropriate the dark and gold autos, because of lawful activity brought by previous store driver Charles Pic. “I’ve heard our autos have been seized,” affirmed architect Alan Permane to Britain’s Sky, “yet I’m certain it will be sorted right on time one week from now.”

At long last, Red Bull has affirmed that it is looking for a ‘genial division’ to its agreement with Renault, as an arrangement with Mercedes for 2016 possibly lingers. “I need to say that (a neighborly partition) sounds really great,” group official Dr Helmut Marko said, in the midst of recommendations Renault is resolved for Red Bull to agree to the arrangement.

What’s more, Bernie Ecclestone is additionally encouraging Mercedes to play along, notice the German carmaker to “think painstakingly before saying no” to Red Bull’s motor solicitation, as indicated by the Sunday Times.

Is the mobilespace getting boring?

We’re in a rut, people. There’s not a lot you can say about that; there’s no real argument. Phones and tablets have gotten b-o-r-i-n-g. I held out hope with the Galaxy S6 Edge plus coming out, but it turns out it’s just a Galaxy S6 Edge that someone stuck a straw into and blew up a few puffs. I’m yawning just writing this sentence.

Slab, slab, slab, slab, curvy slab, slab, slab. Bored yet? You wouldn’t be wrong. Putting the iPhone, Galaxy S6, LG G4, and HTC One M9 all on a table and you might think you’ve too many strawberry shots injected into your face (it’s alcohol, just go with it) and now you’re seeing quadruple . Aside from minor differences here and there, you’re basically looking at the same phone, looking at the same phone, looking at the same phone, looking at the same phone.

galaxy s6 vs iphone 6Inside and out
Even the spec sheets have started to level off. The processor is fast and gets hot, 4 GB of RAM still lags, 16, 32, or 64 GB still needs expandable storage, and your battery lasts you one day. So even the insides are the same between these phones. Skins are becoming more and more stock-Android like. It’s getting to the point where the only thing different on all of these phones is the dang sticker they stick on the back of it.

It’s funny, because there’s so much parity between devices these days you would think it’d be an even playing field, and to a degree it is. Samsung and iPhone own the first tier of smartphone buying. Everyone else competes for third best. But it’s a relatively even playing field on both of those tiers. So it’s not all that bad, but all these phones are pretty much all the same.

And yet…
But there is one major differentiating factor – the camera. On that playing field, the first tier is occupied by the same iPhone and Samsung, but LG joins the fray there. Outstanding cameras are becoming more common than they were before. But with three competitors on the field, it’s a wider array of possibility than we have seen in the past. These three phones all stand toe-toe with each other, and the rest of the field is catching up, albeit more slowly.

But beyond that, smartphones do have one area where they’re still relatively diverse – software. I know I just said that phones were all approaching a stock Android experience, and that is not far from the truth, but the fact of the matter is all of these phones all have different software experiences. Samsung still has a lighter-but-still-laggy Touchwiz. Motorola has a number of software optimizations that other OEMs haven’t caught up with. iPhone is obviously running its own operating system, which is smooth and quick in its own right.

lumia 535Stir in a little Microsoft
We should also take a moment to acknowledge Windows Phone and its hardware which is all very similar to the rest of the field in both its similarities and differences – Hardware, slab, camera, etc. Windows Phone it getting a little long in the tooth to really stand up against today’s Android and iOS flagships, but hopefully that changes in October.

When it does change, thanks in part to the new flagships we’ll see from Apple and Microsoft this fall, we may yet see a diverse range of flagships all offering a certain set of features that sets them apart from the rest of the field. Phones may all look the same and have the same guts, but there is still room to diversify in this space.

Only get one chance…
Or maybe looks are what matter. After all, you only get one chance to make a first impression with your mobile hardware. I think that’s how the saying goes, isn’t it? So with a broad range of slab, slab, slab phones all over the place, is the smartphone space starting to plateau, or are the software optimizations and the overall experience enough to differentiate themselves from the rest of the pack?

When you look at the phones (and tablets) that are on the market today, is there enough excitement in the mobile industry to keep your attention? Or are you starting to yawn at the close of every hardware announcement of #YAAP (yet another Android phone)? Sound of below, let us know where you are in this ocean of slabs, and let’s see if we can figure this out.
